Many job seekers do not think they need to learn sales skills or perhaps have a negative idea of what sales is about. Selling Yourself is a secret to getting a job quickly . Maxwell said : "People do not care how much you know , until they know how much you care . " This is true for job search , resumes and interviews. Companies and recruiters need to feel the joy that you have to work in your career field and the opportunity to work in your business. I suggest you do your due diligence and research the company (or companies) that you are seeking employment with . If you show up and do not know the mission statement of the company or what their values are , then you're not convey emotion.
You know what? Do you know why you want to work in the field they have chosen ? You are an expert in your field? Can you convey the emotion you feel for the opportunity to do the work you do ?
